Ontario Family Practice provides a wide array of general healthcare services for the community.

Women’s Health: Dedicated care includes pap smears, breast screening, menstrual issue management, contraception, menopause support, and minor procedures like Implanon insertion and removal and Mirena insertion and removal.

Family Planning: Support for fertility, contraception, and pregnancy management, including GP shared antenatal care. As well as compassionate, confidential support for medical termination of pregnancy.

Children’s Health: Prioritising well-being through immunisations, anaphylaxis and allergy management, bedwetting support, acute rash and common childhood illness care, asthma care, developmental and behavioural problem management, and baby checks.

Men’s Health: Comprehensive services addressing prostate cancer screening, continence and urination problems, hormone abnormalities, hair loss, sexual dysfunction, sexual health and STD screening, bowel cancer screening, and smoking cessation management.

General Healthcare: Includes general check-ups, travel vaccinations and advice, skin cancer checks with cyst removals, mole excisions, cryotherapy, and skin biopsies.

Additional Services: Our skilled team offers depression and mental health management, diabetes management, weight loss management, chronic disease management, anticoagulation management of warfarin, musculoskeletal medicine, aged care (including dementia screening, home medication reviews, and over 75s health assessments), 45-49 year old health assessments, wound management and dressings, minor procedures, and corporate health services.

Our doctors prioritise preventative care to improve men’s health, as men visit doctors less often. We opportunistically screen and educate male patients, encouraging regular check-ups.

Urgent Same-day Appointments: We now offer urgent same-day appointments with a rotating doctor, so you can still receive prompt medical attention even if your regular GP is unavailable. These appointments are ideal for issues that can’t wait but don’t require emergency care. If you’d like, we can ensure your regular GP is informed about your visit to keep your ongoing care coordinated.
