CHILDREN'S HEALTH & VACCINATION

Family GP support plays a vital role in children’s healthy growth and development through childhood and adolescence. Ontario Family Practice provides comprehensive child health services, recognising its critical importance. Our services include immunisations, monitoring physical and mental health and development, treating minor accidents, conducting developmental checks, and addressing personal concerns and stresses.

We manage a wide array of common childhood illnesses, such as ear infections, upper respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, viral gastroenteritis, minor injuries and fractures, as well as asthma and eczema.

The prompt assessment and treatment of unwell children is a priority at our practice. We maintain a computerised vaccination register, and updated immunisation information is automatically submitted to the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (ACIR).
