Tele Health

Video-conferencing is one of the main ways in which tele-health is improving access to healthcare services for patients who live in regional, rural and remote areas. Instead of having to travel to the nearest major city to see a specialist, an increasing number of patients are using video-conferencing.

Our clinic provides tele-health consultations with specialists who have agreed to provide this service.

How does it work?

A GP treating a patient in a tele health eligible area can refer the patient to a specialist for a consultation via tele-health. During the consultation, the patient and specialist will be able to see and hear each other via video conferencing technology.

The GP or another health professional may also be at the patient-end of the consultation to provide clinical services where clinically appropriate.

Please ask our friendly staff for more information to avail this service, and to check if your specialist provides this service.

Telehealth appointments available

Due to snap lockdown announced in Mildura, we are offering Telehealth appointments only to all our patients from 11 Oct until further notice. Limited face-to-face appointments may be offered if approved by the treating doctor following a teleconsult.

Thank you for your understanding.
