Influenza & Vaccination

Flu vaccines are now available at the practice, and we are now booking appointments for getting your flu shot. These will be ‘quadrivalent’ vaccines, protecting against 4 strains of influenza.

Vaccines are free of charge to the following groups of people:

• Everyone aged 65 years or over
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people under 5 or over 15 years old
• Pregnant women and
• People with chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, severe asthma, lung conditions, heart disease or low immunity
• Childrens 6 months to 5 years old

If you are in one of these groups, you can book in to have your free flu vaccine .

If you are not in one of these groups, you can pay for the vaccine ($15) at the clinic.
